For the first pages, align the text 'Dieter Rams: A Maker from the Start' with one of the images at the top. Try aligning right and left with some of the photos to see what works best. You could also experiment with the spacing of the top images so they are grouped differently, such as three on the right and two on the left. Right now, the bottom spread is more successful. Even though it shows a lot of symmetry (isn't that evident in Rams anyway?), it avoids the top heavy look to the other spread. Move the columns of text up slightly to avoid the appearance of more space at the top then at the bottom. Do you have page numbers? You can put them just on the right.
